Christopher M. Spearman, M.D., is the managing partner at Scott & Christie Eyecare Associates in Cranberry Township, PA, where he practices comprehensive ophthalmology with a specialty in cataract surgery and MIGS.
He grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. He received his bachelor's degree from Penn State University and his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He then completed his internship at Lankenau Medical Center and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin.
He actively participates in clinical research and has been the principal investigator for 14 clinical trials and a sub investigator in more than 60 additional studies.
He serves on the young physician advisory board and the premium cataract surgery advisory board for EyeSouth Partners.
Doctor Spearman is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), and Pittsburgh Ophthalmology Society. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Chrissy, and his children – Emily, Alex and Connor. His hobbies include spending time outdoors, running, and cooking.
