Robert J. Noecker, MD, MBA is an internationally recognized expert in glaucoma, practicing at Ophthalmic Consultants of Connecticut. He specializes in cataract surgery and micro-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). Dr. Noecker currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Yale University School of Medicine and as Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.
He completed his undergraduate studies at MIT, earned his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona, and received fellowship training in glaucoma at Tufts University in Boston.
Dr. Noecker has conducted clinical research on many of the products and devices used in modern glaucoma care and collaborates globally on the development of new materials and technologies for ocular therapy. He has been recognized as a “Best Doctor in America” every year for the past decade and regularly teaches at major ophthalmology conferences. He has lectured in over 40 countries worldwide.
