Dr. Grace Levy-Clarke is a Uveitis Specialist and an Associate Professor at WVU Eye Institute since 2021. She earned her medical degree in 1995 from the Medical College of Wisconsin, graduating with Honors in Research and as an elected member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor's Medical Society. She completed her ophthalmology residency at The Ohio State University in 1999, followed by a two-year clinical research fellowship in Uveitis and Ocular Immunology at The National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health from 1999 to 2001. Dr. Levy-Clarke also served as the Fellowship Director from 2004 to 2007. Before joining WVU, she was the Residency Director for the HCA-USF Ophthalmology Program at the Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point in Florida.
Dr. Levy-Clarke is a member of the American Uveitis Society, where she served on the Executive Committee from 2007 to 2010, and a member of the Uveitis Panel for the ABO. She is currently involved with the International Uveitis Study Group and the International Ocular Inflammation Society, which are groups serving academic-minded fellowship-trained Uveitis Specialists.
She has published over 70 peer-reviewed articles and has presented her work locally, nationally, and internationally. Dr. Levy-Clarke serves as a consultant on the Medical Devices Advisory Committee for the FDA. Passionate about teaching medical students and residents, she also serves as a health advisor to patients with autoimmune diseases.
